I = Me …
My name is Kanchan, am an IT professional. I’m a typical gal from Mumbai, currently working in the valleys next door – Pune. I got this new hobby of trying out varied recipes on my husband whom I fondly refer as The Foodie. Hence I thought of jotting down these adventures here.

Vegetarian...
I belong to this Konkani cross Maharashtrian family; so non vegetarian food (read Fish-eterian or Chicken-eterian) was prevalent for our Sunday Special Lunch. But The Foodie is Pure Vegetarian Marwadi; and as no one should miss the specialties at home; currently Vegetarian Domain has taken a higher priority. But Non- Vegetarian dishes may make guest appearances here.

My Inspiration...
Only single person my Mom; she is super duper woman. Though a working lady she still manages a proper Sagar Sangeet – Complete Meal always. May be Lunch or Dinner OR Breakfast or Evening Snack;  
She prepares everything to the T of PERFECT! She has this hobby of collecting cookbooks and noting novel recipes in a diary. Like all daughters I’m just trying to follow my Mom; just as this generation belongs to IT my collection is Online here.

Influence...
Yups ! These two words are different; I am inspired by my Mom and influenced by The Foodie.  The Foodie name is totally apt for him; cos I was never attracted to Food as whole but he loves anything that is edible. He heartily appreciates everything that he eats and always tries to make it better and different next time. He is an awesome cook and does make guest appearances here.

Guinea Pigs…
Not only tried and tasted but appreciated and loved recipes make it to the blog. The Most common Guinea Pig is The Foodie along with him my BRO also makes an appearance as guinea pig. If the dish is not blog worthy it won’t appear here.

Fans and Critics…
Of all the family members mentioned above All are my ardent Fans but the one not mentioned is my Pappa who is an apt critic for me; and that makes me strive and try for making recipes better. Along with them my extended family is All of You – Readers, Friends, Followers and Foes. You make my Day when you appreciate me but I would also love if you give me sincere suggestions to make the recipes and space better.

Camera...
Photography is my hobby and hence I’ve a page dedicated to My Clicks. But clicking nature and food is totally different, so I feel I’ve grown from my amateurish snaps in my initial blog days to clicking creative delectable snaps nowadays. I’m new to this domain but still got to know the fact that the Food and Day Light gives great results, so love trying out variations here.

Rants and Blabbers…
Though this is a Food Blog; this is only open space of mine where I put my experiences or thoughts. I’m not an opinionated feminist; I do not try to hurt or ridicule anyone; reading prologue before a recipe is your personal choice and you can always skip it. So would love your polite comments without being judgmental about me. Else Food takes High Priority here.
